Ohio Flame Update Regarding COVID-19

"As we approach the month of May, I want to take a moment to provide an update regarding our current operations during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

First of all, we are very fortunate to be able to report that we have remained safe from COVID-19.  Last month in compliance with state mandated safety procedures, we reduced operations to only one employee in the shop at a time.  We also suspended all appointments to the public as well as all in-store customer pickups.  Because of this, were able to eliminate any possible COVID-19 exposure to our employees.  This is a safety precaution that we intend to keep for the foreseeable future.

We are also experiencing an unprecedented surge of orders at this time, which, combined with our one employee mandate, has caused lead times to stretch out a bit longer than usual.  Our team is working hard to fulfill these orders in a timely manner, most of which are all made to order.  We appreciate your patience during this time.

Moving forward, we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.  We're hearing from a lot of our brick and mortar retailers as they prepare to start opening up to the public again.  The weather is starting to warm up, and we're all ready to get outside and enjoy those evenings around a fire.

To answer some of the frequent questions that we have been receiving during this time:

  • Yes, we are still open and we are still shipping orders while adhering to all state mandated social distancing guidelines.
  • We have suspended all customer pick-up options as well as all appointments to the public
  •  We are experiencing extended lead times while we are under the one employee guideline.  We will resume to regular staffing when our state government updates us that is safe to.
