After a very busy past three months, we are starting to see a little bit of a "return to normalcy" around the shop. While it's very predictable, year after year, July and August tend to slow up a little and give us time to prepare for our Fall season. Currently, our lead times are back to normal with most in-stock orders shipping out in just a matter of days. Artisan orders are currently about 5 - 7 Days out.
While things are a little more manageable than in previous months, our overall volume is up considerably from this time in years prior. We will continue communicate our lead times to the best of our ability and make adjustments to help keep lead times as reasonable as we can. We are expecting volume to resume accelerating in September, and we are preparing by bringing in significant tonnage of steel for inventory. Our recommendation is that if you plan on being in the market for a Fire Pit this Fall, try to get your order in prior to September. We are also expecting online retail to set record-breaking numbers this Holiday Season, so please don't wait too late to place an order if you need it by a particular deadline.
We're also getting quite a few requests for "curbside pickup options". To recap our policy regarding this:
"We will be allowing a "curbside pick up" option for customers who place their order in advance and wish to pick up their order directly at our facility. For your safety and ours, we will not be accepting payments in any form at our facility. Pick up orders must be placed ahead of time and paid for at the time of order. Arrangements will then be made to pick up the order outside of our facility. There will be no public appointments within our shop at this time, for the safety of our customers and our employees."
